Digital Tools for the Performing Artist site is a collection of tips tricks and reviews, that covers hardware software or the web that can be used by the preforming artist.

Todd Proffitt-Associate Professor at SUNY-Fredonia, Lighting Designer
Mr. Proffitt started using computers about the same time he started getting serious about theatre around 1990. He as worked in a variety of technical and design positions in such companies as The Chautauqua Theatre Company; The Paul Robeson Theatre in Buffalo Ny; Buffalo State College; The Producers Circle in New Orleans; Central Missouri Repertory in Warrensburg, Missouri; and The Des Moines Metro Opera in Des Moines, Iowa as well as many others. In late 2001 he started a web site for Lighting Software and maintained it until 2003. It can still be found in the internet archive.
